MISSION STATEMENT
FOR THE RACIAL HARMONY COMMITTEE
The Office of Racial Harmony and the Archdiocesan Implementation Committee are fully committed to assisting all parishes, schools, administrative offices and individual Catholics of the Archdiocese of New Orleans to faithfully explore ways to promote racial harmony so as to build a more loving, accepting and respectful community. We are dedicated to addressing the sin of racism and to working to change hearts and minds so that the rich blessings of multiculturalism, diversity and ethnic inclusion will be appreciated.
DECLARACION DE MISION
Por medio de manifestar e incrementar la harmonia racial, la mision del Comite de Implementacion es asistir a todos miembros de la Arquidiocesis de Nueva Orleans a responder a el mandamiento de Jesus a vivir como un solo cuerpo y espiritu.
El comite facilitara y evaluara la implementacion de un plan de accion delineado en la Carta Pastoral sobre la Harmonia Racial, “Hechos a Imagen y Semejanza de Dios” por medio de servir la comunidad de la Arquidiocesis.
